ADC Nowshera chairs block level program on Vibrant Village Prog-2.0

Nowshera : A Sub Division program was organized Wednesday under Vibrant Village Programme-2.0 (VVP-II) in which District and Sectoral Officers remains present.
The camp was attended by residents of five identified villages i.e. Sarya, Sehar and Chowki Handan of Nowshera Block, Pukharni of Qila Darhal Block and Village Kalal of Seri Block. Pertinent to mention that Vibrant Village Programme-2.0 (VVP-II) was launched by Government of India on 2nd of April, 2025 covering ILB villages across 15 states and 2 UTs including 124 villages in eight districts of Jammu and Kashmir also as a centre sector scheme with 100 percent funding, furthering its commitment for vision of Viksit Bharat at 2047 for ‘Safe, Secured and Vibrant Land borders’.
The program was organized with an objective to generate awareness among the residents of these villages and to educate them about the objective of Vibrant Village Program-2.0 (VVP-II).
Speaking on the occasion, officers emphasized on various aspects of the program which ensure gap analysis and saturation of services in thematic areas through convergence i.e. connectivity including all weather roads under PMGSY-IV, Telecom access via digital Bharat Nidhi, Basic services such as electrification through RDSS and access to television via the BIND Scheme, Livelihood development through eco-agri business models.
On the various thematic areas like weather road connectivity, telecom connectivity, television connectivity and electrification through convergence under existing scheme norms and also apprise them that program aims at organizing activities like fairs and festivals, awareness camps, celebration of National days, regular visits by Ministers, senior government officers from central and State/UT Government and night stays in such villages.
ADC Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa informed that village action plan under the Vibrant Village Program-2.0 will be formulated for each village covering thematic areas and saturation of all central and UT sponsored beneficiaries based schemes. Program aims at all weather road connectivity, telecom connectivity, television connectivity and electrification through convergence under existing scheme nor
Among others, the program was attended by program officers like ICDS Rajouri, SE PWD (R&B) Rajouri, Deputy Director Employment Rajouri, ACD Rajouri, Executive Engineers of Nowshera Sub Division and other District and Sectoral officers.
