India has made many strides in digital payments, powered by the collective resolve of 140 crore Indians. Sectors like health and education have also benefitted from this initiative, he added”. He further highlighted the transformative impact of the programme, highlighting its far-reaching effects on the lives of ordinary citizens. “This thread offers a glimpse of the transformation and its scale!” he added. Notably, the Digital India initiative, launched in 2015, to enhance online infrastructure, increase internet connectivity, and improve digital literacy. MyGovIndia on X said, “In 2015, PM @narendramodi launched Digital India to make technology accessible for all”. “A decade later, India leads in real-time digital payments, has one of the fastest 5G rollouts, and is building future-ready tech like AI and semiconductors. Whether it’s a remote village or a rising startup, Digital India is unlocking opportunity everywhere. The numbers don’t whisper. They roar,” it added.
