New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming India into a developed nation, termed “Bharat Viksit,” by the year 2047.
During a virtual address, he urged the youth to commit to making India a global leader across various sectors as the nation approaches the centenary of its independence. Shah highlighted the historical significance of tribal leader Govind Guru, who played a crucial role in India’s freedom struggle by inspiring the local populace during British rule. He noted that the establishment of Govind Guru University was an initiative proposed by Modi during his time as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Shah marked the occasion as a significant milestone for the Panchmahal district, underscoring the university’s potential to serve as a source of inspiration for tribal communities nationwide.
