Says “Sufi saints are the beacons of light teaching humanity”
Jammu : Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board and Minister of State, participated in the Annual Urs of Peer Baba Kunju Shah at his shrine in Kunjwani, Jammu. The Waqf Board had made extensive arrangements for the attendees, and the recent upgrades to the shrine’s facilities were well-received by the devotees. During the event, Dr. Andrabi highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Waqf Team, which is dedicated to enhancing the spiritual shrines and improving amenities for visitors across the Union Territory. She emphasized the role of Sufi saints as guiding figures who promote humanity and inclusivity, underscoring the spiritual enlightenment that these shrines provide. Dr. Andrabi was joined by Abid Hussain, the Administrator of the Waqf Board for Jammu, during the celebrations.
