Abdul Rahim Rather inaugurates additional Block of GHSS Pakarpora

Budgam : Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, inaugurated the additional accommodation Block of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Pakarpora here on Tuesday.
The project was completed at a cost of Rs 1.60 crore by R&B Division, Charar-i-Sharif.
After inauguration, the Speaker also inspected different blocks of the institution and had assessment of existing infrastructure.
The Speaker, on the occasion, distributed certificates among the best performing students of the institution. He assured the students that in coming days efforts would be made to establish library and a play field in the institution.
Later, the Speaker interacted with various public delegations and individuals. They put forth various issues and grievances before the Speaker and sought their immediate redressal. They also demanded school library, fencing of Wall in school premises and widening of road from Pakarpora to Pulwama.
While interacting with these public delegations, the Speaker assured them that their genuine demands will be redressed promptly.
Among others, senior officers of district administration, staff members of the school, locals and large number of students were also present on the occasion.
