Doda : A Dharti Aabha Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan awareness and saturation camp was organised Saturday at Panchayat Kandolo, Block Bhallessa, Sub-Division Gandoh.
A range of services and awareness activities were organized during the Abhiyan, including medical check-ups, Aadhaar enrolment, PMJAY (Ayushman Bharat) card registration and the distribution of IEC materials related to health, sanitation and education. Multiple departmental stalls were set up to guide beneficiaries about government welfare schemes such as PMAY-G, MGNREGA, NRLM and Scholarship Schemes for tribal students.
Former PRI members, frontline workers and officials from the Health, Rural Development and Social Welfare Departments actively participated in the event. Special emphasis was laid on sensitizing the community about the importance of education, health awareness, women empowerment and sustainable livelihood opportunities in tribal areas.
The Abhiyan also featured cultural performances featuring folk dance and music, adding a vibrant and festive touch to the occasion and reinforcing the connection between developmental initiatives and local identity.
