Budgam: Director FCS&CA, Dr Owais Ahmed, on Saturday conducted an extensive tour of Budgam district to review arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.
Dr Owais visited the prominent Imam Baras where brief deliberations were held with the Shia Associations of the district, and on spot directions were given to the officers of the department to ensure close coordination with the representatives of the associations so that no genuine demand remains unaddressed.
The officer also visited various sale centres of the district to review the distribution status, and it was apprised that distribution of food grains is going hassle free, besides food grains for the month of July have been made available at all the sale centres across the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Owais said that all necessary arrangements for distribution of essential supplies, particularly ration, have been made.
