DC G’bal finalizes arrangements for Int’l Yoga Day celebration

Ganderbal : In preparation for the upcoming International Yoga Day celebrations, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, Thursday chaired a meeting of senior officers at DC Office Complex here to review and finalize the arrangements.
During the meeting, it was decided that the main district-level Yoga Day event will be held at the Government Physical College of Education, Gadoora. In addition, similar yoga sessions will be organized at Manasbal, Sonamarg, and other designated locations across the district to ensure widespread participation.
DC directed all line departments to make necessary preparations at the venues well in advance to facilitate smooth conduct of yoga sessions across the district.
District Officer AYUSH and DYSSO were specifically instructed to coordinate with all concerned departments for ensuring foolproof and seamless arrangements for the celebrations.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat; CEO Sonamarg Development Authority, Bilal Mukhtar; Chief Education Officer, EO Municipality, District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO), District Officer AYUSH, and representatives from various departments.
