ADDC Kulgam conducts review meeting with Business Help Desk, YUVA Doots at DH Pora

Kulgam: Continuing the district administration’s efforts to boost youth empowerment and self-employment under Mission YUVA, Additional District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Altaf Ahmad Khan Thursday chaired a detailed review meeting with Business Help Desk (BHD) members and YUVA Doots from Block Manzgam, Pombay, DH Pora & DK Marg (Cluster-I) at SDM Office, Damhal Hanjipora.
The review meeting focused on evaluating progress and performance of grassroots level functionaries engaged in implementation of Mission YUVA.
In a notable step towards accountability, ADDC conducted a one-on-one appraisal of each YUVA Doot and Business Help Desk member, seeking detailed feedback on their field activities, youth engagement efforts and challenges encountered, if any.
During the meeting, he assessed impact and effectiveness of outreach camps being conducted under Udyam Jagriti 3.0, number of youth mobilized, applications fetched etc. Each field worker presented their individual progress and practices adopted to reach the target group.
ADDC emphasized upon the importance of on ground visibility and urged all YUVA Doots and BHDs to expand their outreach, especially in uncovered and far-flung areas. He stressed the need for continuous follow-up and personalized guidance to aspiring youth entrepreneurs.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC said that one-on-one feedback approach Thursday has given us valuable insights into field realities. He reiterated the district administration’s commitment of facilitating seamless service delivery and inter-departmental coordination.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar DH Pora, Career Counselling Officer, District Employment and Counseling Centre Kulgam, all BHD members, YUVA Doots & other key stakeholders.
The review concluded with a collective commitment to intensify efforts, enhance youth outreach and ensure effective on-ground implementation of Mission YUVA initiatives.
