Baramulla : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a meeting with representatives of various banks to review the status of pending cases under Agriculture and Allied Sector schemes including PM Vishwakarma, and PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
DC directed the banks to expedite the clearance of all pending applications and ensure timely disbursement of benefits to eligible beneficiaries. He emphasized the importance of regularly checking the JanSamarth portal for tracking loan applications and ensuring prompt action.
DC urged all bank officials to adopt a proactive and result-oriented approach, underlining that financial support under these schemes plays a vital role in promoting self-reliance and livelihood generation. He called for enhanced coordination and follow-up to ensure that no eligible applicant is left behind.
