“Land Borders Open For Evacuation Of Indian Students”, Says Iran
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsappTelegramEmail

New Delhi|June,17: India has started evacuating its citizens from Iran as tensions rise between Iran and Israel. The first group of 110 Indian nationals has safely entered Armenia and will return to Delhi tomorrow. Indian officials have advised their nationals in Tehran to leave and contact the embassy, which has established an emergency helpline.
The conflict has intensified, with Iran launching missile and drone attacks on Israel, causing significant casualties. Israel’s recent military operations against Iran’s nuclear sites have prompted this escalation. Iran claims to have uncovered a drone production facility linked to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, arresting two suspects and seizing large amounts of explosives and drone components.
Iran’s Foreign Minister stated that Israel’s strikes undermine diplomatic efforts amidst nuclear negotiations with the U. S. Dramatic footage shows missile strikes impacting Iranian State TV, causing disruption during a live broadcast. The U. S. is increasing its military presence in the Middle East in response to these developments, although specific military details have not been revealed.  Additionally, Iran has threatened to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, while U. S. President Donald Trump urged Iranians to evacuate Tehran, expressing concerns over Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Trump’s comments came after he announced leaving the G7 summit early due to the situation.  The Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv is monitoring the safety of Indian nationals and has provided a 24/7 helpline for emergencies. Other nations, including China, Turkey, and the UK, have called for both Iran and Israel to reduce tensions, while planned nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington have been canceled.
