Published by the globally renowned academic publisher Springer Nature, the book represents a significant contribution to contemporary scholarship on two of the most urgent challenges of our time—economic resilience and environmental sustainability. The book is co-edited by distinguished scholars Dr. Firdous Ahmad Malik, Dr. Samriti Mahajan, Dr. Devendra Kumar Yadav and Dr. Naveed Ahmad Lone, alongside Dr. Trali. Together, they have curated a volume that brings forward cutting-edge research and critical policy insights focused on building financial resilience while promoting environmental sustainability—particularly from the often-underrepresented lens of the Global South. Dr. Shahid Amin Trali, a native of the scenic Tral village in Kashmir, currently serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Management at ITM, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He is also the Convener of the Institute’s Innovation Council, where he plays a vital role in nurturing a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. With over a decade of academic and professional experience, Dr. Trali has been instrumental in organizing national and international academic events and mentoring numerous students and researchers. An alumnus of prestigious institutions including IIM Ahmedabad (FDP), Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), and the University of Kashmir, he is also a Life Member of the All India Management Association (AIMA). His commitment to academia is reflected not only in his teaching and research but also in his regular contributions to prominent newspapers and magazines.
