Ganderbal: District Legal Services Authority, (DLSA) Ganderbal, in collaboration with the Tehsil Administration, Gund, successfully conducted a legal awareness program on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, at Gund.
The program aimed to educate participants about the prevention, prohibition, and redressal mechanisms available to women facing workplace harassment. It also sought to raise awareness among employees and employers about their rights and responsibilities, legal mechanisms to report harassment, and legal protections for victims of sexual harassment.
Program included a workshop for Internal Complaints Committees (ICC) and Local Complaints Committees (LCC) to sensitize them on their duties under the PoSH Act. Participants were informed about the importance of creating a safe and respectful work environment, free from harassment and discrimination.
Block Development Officer (BDO) Gund, delivered a comprehensive awareness program on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act) and made the participants aware about the importance of creating a safe and respectful work environment, free from sexual harassment.
