ADGP Armed visits Armed Police Complex Parihaspora Pattan,Reviews Functioning of IRP 20th & 21st Bn

Srinagar :. Anand Jain, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K on Tuesda alongwith Junaid Mehmood Deputy Inspector General, Kashmir visited Armed Police Complex Parihaspora, Pattan. The purpose of the visit was to review the functioning of IRP-20th and IRP 21st Battalions stationed at the complex. Upon his arrival Jain was accorded warm welcome by the concerned Commandants. He was presented with a ceremonial Guard of Honour by contingents of IRP-20th and IRP-21st Battalion. A comprehensive Inspection of both the units, and allied offices was carried out by the ADGP on the occasion.
Addressing a special Darbar, Sh. Jain assured the personnel that all legitimate concerns would be addressed at the Armed Police Headquarters level. As part of the visit, the ADGP led a plantation drive at Unit Headquarters IRP-21ST Bn. during which saplings of Chinar and Deodar trees were planted. The ADGP Armed commended the role of personnel and encouraged their active participation in ongoing refresher courses. Highlighting cyber security Awareness, the ADGP advised to exercise caution while using social Media Platforms. The ADGP urged all officers and personnel to maintain high levels of vigilance and operational preparedness in light of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra. He also emphasized the significance of cleanliness within the complex and directed regular sanitation drives to ensure hygiene standards. Moreover, he instructed the Commandants to ensure regular medical checkups of the all the personnel to promote health and wellbeing. During his visit, the ADGP Armed also inaugurated wet Canteen and Conference Hall Facility at IRP-20th Battalion.
