Srinagar : Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President Jammu and Kashmir National Conference here on Thursday emphasized that nurturing humanity, promoting brotherhood, and upholding justice are the pressing necessities of our time.
Addressing the party functionaries at the Nawa-e-Subha headquarters in Srinagar, he emphasized that National Conference is far more than just a political entity aiming to win public support for governance, administration, and implementing developmental agendas, adding therein that since its establishment, he highlighted, the National Conference has been a guiding force for society, striving to combat social evils and promote values of humanity, unity, and justice.
“It is essential for our team to persist in promoting values such as brotherhood, unity, equality, justice, and humility. We must also speak out against issues like domestic violence, dowry, excessive spending, and drug addiction, both at home and in our workplaces. Practicing what we preach is crucial. By embodying these principles, we can create a more supportive and just environment for everyone. Let’s commit to being advocates for positive change and ensure that our actions reflect the teachings we uphold,” he said.
