Bikaner (Rajasthan)|May 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Pakistan during a rally in Bikaner on Thursday, condemning the April 22 terrorist attack and praising the Indian armed forces for their swift retaliation. Addressing the rally the Prime Minister said “”Those who set out to wipe off the sindoor have been buried in the soil”
Prime Minister Modi stated that Rajasthan has shown us that nothing matters more than the nation. Referring to the April 22 incident, he said that terrorists attacked innocent people, asked them about their religion and wiped the sindoor off the foreheads of women. He added that the bullets fired in Pahalgam that day hurt the hearts of 140 crore Indians. Addressing the massive gathering, he said, “Those who set out to wipe off the sindoor have been buried in the soil. Those who shed India’s blood have paid for every drop. Those who thought India would stay silent are now hiding in their homes. And those who took pride in their weapons now lie buried beneath their own rubble.”
PM Modi emphasised that the country had vowed to retaliate in an unforgettable manner. “With the valour of our armed forces, Pakistan was forced to bow. Within just 22 minutes of the attack, terrorist camps were destroyed,” he declared, adding that India’s response sent a strong message to its enemies. Highlighting his government’s firm stance on national security, PM Modi said that Indian army was given a free hand. “All three forces together created such a Chakravyuh (military formation) that Pakistan was forced to kneel down,” he said.
Meanwhile, during his Bikaner visit, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Nal Air Force Station in Bikaner, where he is set to interact with the Armed Forces and boost their morale. It may be noted that PM Modi’s Bikaner visit comes in the aftermath of India’s Operation Sindoor, during which the Nal Air Force Station was targeted by Pakistan. However, India successfully thwarted all attacks. Before addressing the crowd, PM Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Deshnoke Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, which is an initiative aimed at redeveloping over 1,300 railway stations across India. He also laid the foundation stone of Churu-Sadulpur rail line (58 km) and dedicated to the Nation Suratgarh-Phalodi (336 km); Phulera-Degana (109 km); Udaipur-Himmatnagar (210 km); Phalodi-Jaisalmer (157 km) and Samdari-Barmer (129 km) rail line electrification and public welfare projects worth Rs. 26,000 crores for Rajasthan.
