Dharti Abha Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan: DC Kishtwar reviews preparedness for launch of IEC campaign

Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan on Tuesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the preparations for launch of Information Education and Communication campaign under Dharti Abha Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan in the district.
The DC directed PO ICDS and District Social Welfare Officer to submit a detailed plan for conducting the IEC campaign across the 19 tribal Villages in the district.
He emphasized the need for a well-structured and integrated plan to ensure effective execution of the initiative aimed at uplifting tribal communities.
The DDC directed for the constitution of Village-Level Committees comprising male and female youth from tribal villages to actively lead the campaign and help line departments in identification of Institutional gaps.
These committees will play a pivotal role in spreading awareness and assisting in the smooth implementation of the Dharti Abha Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan on Ground level.
The DC directed the line departments to identify and address critical gaps in the delivery of services to tribal populations. Special emphasis was laid on generating mass awareness about the benefits of Centrally Sponsored Schemes meant for tribal population at the Sub-Division, Tehsil, and Block levels.
ADC Pawan Kotwal; ACR Idrees Lone; CEO KDA Kaiser Bhawani; SDM Chatroo Nayeem Ur Rahman and other officers from the line departments attended the meeting.
