Srinagar : J&K National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq Monday met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar to address urgent needs within his constituency and the larger Srinagar district.
During the meeting, Sadiq raised the issue of allocating new fire stations in Zadibal constituency and the urgent need to augment infrastructure including macadamisation of roads throughout the city.
Specifically, Sadiq requested the immediate allocation of fire stations in New Colony Lal Bazar, Bhrar Bagwanpora, and Mir Behri Dal (Nagaland Ground) to improve response times to frequent fire incidents in the area. He also emphasized the urgent need for the Housing and Urban Development Department to authorize and commence road resurfacing (macadamization) work in Srinagar. Chief Minister assured Sadiq of the government’s commitment to addressing these critical issues promptly. He reiterated the government’s full support for Srinagar’s development initiatives, highlighting the importance of improvements to drainage, healthcare, sanitation, road connectivity, and transportation.
