Bandipora: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl, on Saturday chaired a meeting of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Committee at his office chamber, here.
The meeting was convened to evaluate pending relief cases and ensure the prompt disbursement of assistance to genuine beneficiaries under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Bandipora, Assistant Executive Engineers from R&B Sumbal and Bandipora, along with representatives from other concerned departments.
During the meeting, a total of six relief cases were presented for scrutiny. After a detailed assessment, all six eligible cases were approved for payment. The committee reiterated the importance of strict adherence to documentation standards to uphold transparency and accountability in the disbursement process.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC emphasized the need for swift and responsible relief measures to ease the challenges faced by affected individuals. He directed the concerned departments to streamline workflows and ensure that relief reaches the deserving beneficiaries without unnecessary procedural delays.
