Kulgam: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kulgam on Saturday organised programmes on Legal Aid Defense Counsel Scheme-2022 at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Yaripora and Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Yaripora.
The events were held under the chairpersonship of Principal District and Sessions Judge (PD&SJ) Kulgam, Aijaz Ahmad Khan.
Speaking on the occasion, resources persons for the programme said that the LADC Scheme is for ensuring access to justice and that no one is deprived of access to justice because of economic disparity.
It also focuses on providing qualitative and competent legal services in criminal matters to all eligible persons, besides managing and implementing the legal aid system in a professional manner in criminal matters.
The programme was attended by faculty members of concerned institute, students and LADCs.
