B’gam : The Jammu & Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) Block BK Pora, in collaboration with the Health Department, successfully conducted a health camp aimed at providing essential medical services to members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Summerbugh, BK Pora. The camp offered free medical check-ups, screenings for common health issues, and distribution of medicines.
As envisioned by the Mission Director JKRLM Dr Shubhra Sharma, Madina Bukhari, Block Program Manager BK Pora stated that the joint efforts of JKRLM and the Health Department reflect a well-rounded strategy to women’s health, integrating aspects of health, education, and community participation.’ Dr. Gul Afroz Khuroo, Block Medical Officer BK Pora, graced the occasion and played a pivotal role in the camp’s success. Her leadership and coordination ensured the smooth execution of the health camp, reflecting her deep commitment to improving healthcare services in the area.
