DC Kulgam visits GHSS Nihama, interacts with students

Kulgam : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Thursday visited Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Nihama to take firsthand assessment of the overall functioning of the institution.
During the visit, DC took stock of the existing infrastructure, academic environment, and staff availability.
He also interacted with the students and staff and highlighted the significance of dedication, discipline, and consistency in achieving academic and personal success.
Khan urged students to remain focused on their goals and to make optimal use of the educational opportunities available to them.
Emphasizing the pivotal role of education in shaping a successful future, DC shared valuable insights on goal setting, time management and confidence building.
He also appreciated the efforts of the teaching faculty and assured them of full support from the district administration in addressing academic and infrastructural requirements.
On the occasion, DC also inspected the ongoing construction work of a new building within the school premises.
He instructed the Executive Engineer, R&B, to expedite the pace of work and ensure timely completion of the project to augment the existing infrastructure.
DC was accompanied by ADC, Viqar Ahmad Giri; SDM D.H.Pora, Tehsildar, ZEO and other officers.
