Srinagar : President J&K National Conference Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Alhaj Abdul Qayoom Farooqi, brother-in-law of senior party leader Mohammad Shafi Uri.
In their heartfelt condolence messages Dr Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended their deepest sympathies to Farooqi’s and to the family of Mohammad Shafi Uri, offering prayers for strength and resilience during this challenging time. They also prayed for the departed soul to find eternal peace in the highest realms of Jannat, reflecting on his humble and spiritual character. Late Farooqi was the maternal uncle of party leader and MLA Uri Dr. Sajad Shafi Uri.
