20 cities targeted by Pak in fresh drone attacks. List of locations

New Delhi: Taking military escalation with India to the next level, the Pakistani Army resorted to heavy shelling in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan, which are situated on the International Border, for a second consecutive night. Army sources said that around 20 locations in India’s bordering states and the Line of Control came under a barrage of drone attacks.
Here is the list of locations targeted by Pakistan:
• At least 15 drones were spotted in Punjab’s Amritsar. Most of these drones were neutralised as a red alert was sounded in the city, sources said.
• Pakistan resorted to unprovoked shelling in Jammu along the Line of Control for the second consecutive day.
• Three people were injured in Punjab’s Firozpur after their house caught fire as debris from a defused Pakistani drone fell on it.
• Baramulla in north Kashmir was subjected to heavy shelling by Pakistan. Explosions were heard in the area as Baramulla was put under complete blackout.
• Heavy artillery underway along LoC in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
• Punjab’s Pathankot also came under heavy shelling from Pakistan.
• At least nine drones were shot down in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer.
• Local authorities in Rajasthan’s Barmer confirmed shooting down one Pakistani drone during the attack.
• Heavy shelling by Pakistan was also reported from Samba in Jammu and Kashmir.
• Several drones were intercepted by the Indian air defence system in Rajasthan’s Pokhran.
• Around eight to 10 drones were downed by Indian forces in J&K’s Uri sector.
• Pakistan violated the ceasefire in Shahpur Kerni and Deghwar sub-sectors in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch amid heavy mortar shelling.
• A loud explosion was heard in Punjab’s bordering district of Gurdaspur.
• Pakistan resorted to a heavy drone attack in the Nowgam region of J&K’s Handwara district.
• Several drones were sighted in Jammpu-Kashmir’s Rajouri district as Indian forces launched a counter-offensive.
