Doda: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh on Thursday inspected the ongoing construction work of the Government Medical College Teaching Hospital building.
During his visit, the DC emphasized the need for the timely completion of the project to enhance healthcare infrastructure in the district.
During the inspection, he interacted with the GMC Principal, Executive Engineer (Xen) PWD R&B, and other staff members to assess the progress and address any challenges being faced in the construction process. He urged the concerned departments to expedite the work, ensuring that quality standards are strictly maintained.
Highlighting the importance of healthcare facilities, DC Doda announced that, in coordination with the National Health Mission (NHM), a Critical Care Unit (CCU) will be established within the hospital building.
