Power Shutdown in Srinagar, Ganderbal areas

Srinagar : According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out Branch cutting/ pruning of trees lying in close vicinity of these lines, and carrying out their necessary stabilization, shutdown of several 33KV lines shall be carried out which will subsequently affect power supply to various areas across Srinagar and Ganderbal districts.
The shutdown of 33KV Cheshmashahi-TRC Nedous line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at F1 Centaur, BB Cantt and F4 TRC shall remain off while power supply to F1 Centaur (Zabarvan park), BB Cant Tap line and F4 TRC will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 06 May, 2025.
Also, the shutdown of 33KV Cheshmashahi-TRC-Nedous line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at TRC, F6 shall remain off while power supply to 11 KV F6 TRC will be affected from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on 06 May, 2025.
Similarly, the shutdown of 33KV Cheshmashahi-Centaur-Buchwar A line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Buchwara and Centaur shall remain off while power supply to BB Cant, Nehru Park, Dalgate, Dal, Zabarvan Park areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 07 May, 2025.
Further, the shutdown of 33KV Cheshmashahi-O/H Double Circuit TRC/Centaur line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Centaur and 33 kV BB Cant Tape line shall remain off while power supply to 33 kV BB Cant Tape line, F2 Centaur area will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 08 May, 2025.
Likewise, the shutdown of 33KV Habbak-Hazratbal line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Habbak & Hazratbal shall remain off while power supply to Hazratbal, Umer colony, Rangpora, BARC, Habbak, KU, Nigeen, Kanitar, NIT Shrine areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 10 May, 2025.
Moreover, the shutdown of 33KV Habbak-Zakura-Burzuhama line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Zakura-Burzuhama shall remain off while power supply to Zakura, Batpora, Gulabbagh, Burzuhama, Chatterhama, Tailbal, Danihama, Khimber & Shuperbagh, Animal Husbandary areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 11 May, 2025.
Additionally, the shutdown of 33KV Alusteng-Zakura line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Ahmadnagar, Gulab bagh & Umerheire shall remain off while power supply to Ahmadnagar, Umerheir, Panchayat, Gulab bagh, Pandach, Khalmulla, Pathan Colony areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 12 May, 2025.
Furthermore, the shutdown of 33KV GIS Khanyar-Kathidarwaza line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Kathidarwaza shall remain off while power supply to Central Jail, PHE, Pokhribal, Saida Kadal, Kathidarwaza, Mir Behri & Naidyar areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 13 May, 2025.
Besides, the shutdown of 33KV Habbak-Lal Bazar line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Lal Bazar and Baghwanpora shall remain off while power supply to Lal Bazar, Molvistop, Botashah Mohalla, Sikh Bagh, Amdakadal, Botakadal & Baghwanpora areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 13 May, 2025.
Also, the shutdown of 33KV Wanganpora-Khanyar-Rainawari line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Khanyar, Rainawari shall remain off while power supply to Miskeen Bagh, Makhdoom Sahib, Rozabal, Hazaribagh,, Kondabal, Hassanabad, Jogilankar JLNM Hospital areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 14 May, 2025.
The shutdown of 33KV Wanganpora-Takanwari line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Takanwari shall remain off while power supply to Shanglipora, Palpora & Sangam will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 14 May, 2025.
Similarly, the shutdown of 33KV Wanganpora-Soura-SKIMS line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Soura, Zoonimar shall remain off while power supply to Soura, Zoonimar, Nowshera, HVDS, Buchpora, Bohlachpora & Anchar will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 14 May, 2025.
Further, the shutdown of Habbak-Owantabhawan (BAMK)-SKIMS line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Owantabhawan shall remain off while power supply to Owantabhawan & Umer Colony B will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 15 April, 2025.
Likewise, the shutdown of 33KV Pampore- Badamibagh line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Badamibagh, Sonawar, Tangnar, Panthachowk, Lasjan, Govt. Press & Flour Mills shall remain off while power supply to Sonwar, Shivora, Indranagar, badamibagh, WSS Tagnar, Panthachowk, Lasjan will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 17 & 20 May, 2025.
Moreover, the shutdown of 33KV Khunmoh-SIDCO-III line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Cement Plant shall remain off while power supply to Cement Plant Viz Saifco, Khyber, TCI Max areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 24 & 27 May, 2025.
Additionally, the shutdown of 33KV Khumoh-SIDCO-II line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Food Park, Khunmoh, Phase-III shall remain off while power supply to Industrial Area, Khunmoh areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 25 May, 2025.
Furthermore, the shutdown of 33KV Khunmoh-SIDCO-I shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Khunmoh, Old, Balhama, Wuyam, TCI Old shall remain off while power supply to Khunmoh, Chak Sangri JK Ahmad Police, Befina Wuyan, Balhama, TCI Old & Zafran Colony areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 25 May, 2025.
In order to carry out pole erection, the shutdown of 33KV Kangan Surfraw line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Surfraw, Gagangeer shall remain off while power supply to Gund, Gagangeer, Sonamarg, Fraw, Ganiwan areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 01:30 PM on 06 May, 2025.
Further to facilitate Upgradation/ stabilization of 33 KV Alasteng Nagbal and Alasteng Zakura line, the shutdown of 33KV Alasteng Nagbal line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Alusteng, Nagbal, Gadura, Tulbagh shall remain off while power supply to Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Sherpathri will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 8 & 10 May, 2025.
In this connection, the shutdown of 33KV Alasteng Zakura Line (Pertains to STD-1st) shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Gulab Bagh, Ahmad Nagar, Umarhair shall remain off while power supply to Pandach, Pathan Colony, Gulab Bagh, Mir Mohalla, Umer Hair, Nowbugh, Ahmad Nagar, 90ft road, Khalmulla will remain affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 08 May, 2025.
Moreover, to facilitate work related to evacuation of power from GIS Harwan, the shutdown of 33KV Burzhama Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Burzhama shall remain off while power supply to Danihama, Khimber, Chatterhama, Telbal, Burzhama, Gassu, Shopperbagh, Rahbagh, Batpora and adjoining areas area will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 06 May, 2025.
