Altaf Bukhari extends greetings to pilgrims embarking on Hajj this year

Srinagar : As the first batch of Hajj pilgrims is all set to embark on their sacred journey from Srinagar to Jeddah today on Sunday the Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has extended his greetings to all the pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir undertaking the holy pilgrimage this year.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Bukhari said “My warm greeting to all those from Jammu and Kashmir who are undertaking the spiritual journey of Hajj this year. May Allah shower His blessings upon you and grant you spiritual awakening and enlightenment through this sacred pilgrimage. I congratulate all of you on embarking upon this pious journey in the coming days and weeks.” He appealed Hajj aspirants to pray for the lasting peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir during the holy pilgrimage.He said, “I humbly request that you remember the people of J&K in your prayers during Hajj and pray for lasting peace and stability in this region, as its people continue to endure hardships and suffering due to the ongoing violence and instability.”
