Shopian: In a compassionate outreach to families affected by the recent devastating fire in Peer Mohalla, Shopian, Mehmood Ahmad Chowdhury, Chairman DSLA Shopian along with Mudasar Farooq, Secretary DLSA Shopian on Friday visited the affected area to assess the damages.
During the visit, the Chairman DLSA Shopian assured the victims that necessary steps would be taken to expedite compensation through insurance companies.
He further directed SHO Shopian to expedite the investigation and determine the cause of the fire.
Accompanying the delegation were Mohammad Waseem Mirza, Munsiff and Rafie Ahmad Ganie, Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel who provided legal guidance and assistance to the distressed families, reinforcing the DLSA’s commitment to upholding justice and welfare in times of crisis.
