Rajouri: Anand Jain the ADGP Armed J& K on Friday visited IRP 2nd Battalion Headquarters at Fatehpur, Rajouri. On his arrival the ADGP Armed was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour. He was accompanied by senior officers including Tajinder Singh, DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range,Vinod KumarDIG Armed Jammu; Rajinder Singh, SSP APCR Jammu and others.
During the visit, the ADGP inspected various unit establishments
including the administrative block, MT fleet, stores, barracks, and other
infrastructure. He issued on-spot directions for renovation and
beautification of the premises. A mega darbar was also held, where personnel shared their service and welfare concerns. The ADGP assured timely redressal and issued necessary instructions. Jain also visited C and E Companies stationed at Shadhra Sharief and DC Office Rajouri for a security review, directing officers to maintain high alertness in view of the prevailing security scenario.
Also present were Gaurav Sikarwar,SSP Rajouri Nasir Ahmed SSP, Commandant IRP 2nd Bn. and other Officers.
