GMC Srinagar bids farewell to Principal AMT College, 3 staff members

Srinagar : Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar Wednesday organized a warm farewell ceremony to honor Principal AMT College Razia Mahmood and three distinguished staff members—Haleema Bano (Assistant Matron), Mubeena Bano (Assistant Matron), and Rasheeda Showkat (Nursing Supervisor)—as they retired from their dedicated service.
The event witnessed the presence of Principal/Dean, Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan Shah; Administrator, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak; Deputy Registrar, Prof. Dr. M Saleem Itoo; Heads of Departments, Medical Superintendent of SMHS/SSH, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Nursing and Administrative staff, as well as students.
Principal GMC commended the retirees for their commitment and decades of service, stating, “Today we bid farewell to individuals whose unwavering dedication has significantly enriched our institution. Their tireless efforts will always be remembered with deep respect and admiration. We wish them a joyful and fulfilling retirement.”
Administrator also expressed his gratitude, highlighting the professionalism and compassion each retiree brought to their roles.
As a token of appreciation, the retirees were presented with mementos, shawls, and certificates, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the institution.
