Srinagar: President J&K National Conference Dr. farooq Abdullah on the eve of labour day (May Day), commended the determination of countless workers in organised and unorganised sectors.
In a statement issued from party headquarters Dr Abdullah commended the unwavering determination and hard work of the countless workers who contribute significantly to the development of the region. Dr. Abdullah asserted that the party remains dedicated to advocating for the welfare of fixed income groups and daily wage earners, including artisans.
Recognizing the tireless efforts of workers in both the organized and unorganized sectors, Dr. Farooq emphasized the importance of remembering the indigenous struggle of our own people at zaldagar and the silk factory.
Dr Abdullah in his statement further said “While the world celebrates may 1st as international labour day, the sacrifices made by our artisans in these local struggles are often overlooked. it is crucial for our community to remember the sacrifices made by our artisans at Zaldagar and the silk factory. The Naya Kashmir document of our party upholds the fundamental principles of labor laws, including the right to work based on individual capacity.”
