Jammu: Dr. Narinder Singh, MLA RS Pura-Jammu South and BJP National Secretary, and Choudhary Vikram Randhawa, MLA Bahu Assembly Constituency listened to the grievances of masses in a Public Darbar held at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Dozens of deputations visited the BJP headquarters to share their grievances and matters related to personal, societal and development issues. Multiple deputations from sector 10/7 Trikuta Nagar, Bhour Camp, Shastri Nagar and others areas raised the issue of acute water shortage due to various reasons. Deputations from Sanjay Nagar, Last Morh Gandhi Nagar, Kunjawai Bypass and other areas raised their concern about the issues of construction and repair of Lanes & Drains. Deputation from Shiva Colony Trikuta Nagar requested for desilting of Nallah. A Deputation from Greater Kailash raised the issue of repair and maintenance of road adjoining Tawi Canal. A deputation from Greater Kailash ward 68 requested for naming a street as ‘Lane Canal View’. Few deputations from Chowadi and other areas presented revenue department related issues. A deputation from Nai Basti requested to raise the issue of allotment of shop. A case of SRO 43 of PDD- JKPDCL department was also raised in the Darbar, which was referred to the MD PDD.
MLAs immediately took up most of the issues with the concerned department officials and issued written communications for the remaining matters. Dr. Narinder Singh, while listening to the grievances, said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the only party that is committed to the masses at the ground level. He said that the BJP has always taken the core issues at every hierarchy leading the masses from the front and has secured the results in the favour of common masses. He said that the doors of the BJP are always open to the public, and anyone is welcome to meet with party leaders to voice their concerns and seek assistance in this Public Darbar.
Randhawa emphasized that a large number of people have a limited access to the government departments resulting in delays in the redressal of their genuine issues. These aggrieved people happily visit the party headquarters to share their issues, where the senior leaders of the party aid them to get their issues resolved at the earliest.
Er. TK Sharma, co-convenor Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, J&K BJP coordinated the darbar proceedings. Kulbeer Charak and Gurmeet Randhawa were also present on the occasion.
