Jammu: In a continued effort to ensure prompt redressal of public concerns, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders Chander Parkash Ganga, MLA from Vijaypur Assembly Constituency, and Prof. Gharu Ram, MLA from Suchetgarh, held a Public Darbar at the BJP Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Public Darbar witnessed the participation of numerous deputations and individual citizens hailing from different areas to bring attention to the issues affecting their daily lives.
Among the primary concerns raised by the attendees were unscheduled and prolonged power cuts, irregularities in ration supply under the public distribution system, scarcity of clean drinking water in many localities, and delays in execution of essential developmental works such as road repair, drainage systems, and sanitation.
ChanderParkash Ganga and Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat gave a patient and empathetic hearing to all grievances presented during the Darbar. Taking immediate action, the leaders issued written communications to the concerned departments and officials on the spot. These letters emphasized the urgency of the matters raised and pressed for timely redressal in the interest of public welfare.
Listening to the grievances, ChanderParkash Ganga highlighted the BJP’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people. He stated, “The BJP has always believed in listening to the voice of the common man. Our objective is to take people’s issues directly to the corridors of power and ensure their swift resolution. We are a party that thrives on public trust, and it is our duty to live up to that trust through prompt and efficient action.”
Prof. Gharu Ram echoed similar sentiments and underlined the significance of such public interaction platforms. “Public Darbars like this one act as a vital bridge between the citizens and their representatives. They not only allow the public to voice their concerns freely but also help us as leaders stay connected with the ground realities. This two-way communication is essential for good governance and effective policymaking,” he said.
