Power Shutdown in Srinagar, Other Valley Parts

Srinagar: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out Branch Cutting along and under the corridor of these 33 KV lines and Looping of trees and Branch cutting & other preventive maintenance works, shutdown of several 33KV lines shall be carried out which will subsequently affect power supply to various areas across Srinagar, Budgam and Pulwama districts.
The shutdown of 33KV Rawalpora Bagh-I Mehtab line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Bagh-i-Mehtab shall remain off while power supply to Baghi Mehtab, Kralpora & Mochwa will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 15 May, 2025.
Also, the shutdown of 33KV Rawalpora Chanapora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Chanapora Bone & Joint shall remain off while power supply to Chananpora, Bone and Joint Hospital, Budshahnagar, Pamposh Colony Natipora, Nowgam will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 17 May, 2025.
Similarly, the shutdown of 33KV Rawalpora Rangreth line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Rangreth Wanbal shall remain off while power supply to Rangreth & Wanbal areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 17 May, 2025.
Further, the shutdown of 33KV Rawalpora Airforce line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Peerbagh Humhama shall remain off while power supply to Peerbagh and Humhama area will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 17 May, 2025.
Likewise, the shutdown of 33KV Rawalpora Silk Factory line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Silk Factory shall remain off while power supply to Silk Factory, Allochi Bagh, Rambagh areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 19 May, 2025.
Moreover, the shutdown of 33KV GIS Tengpora Grid Narkara line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Narkara Gangbugh shall remain off while power supply to Narkara, Gangbugh areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 19 May, 2025.
Additionally, the shutdown of 33KV GIS Tengpora Grid Exhibition (Tapline) Allochi Bagh Bund Portion line shall be observed due to which power supply to Allochi Bagh area will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 20 May, 2025.
Furthermore, the shutdown of 33KV GIS Tengpora KP Bagh line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at KP Bagh, Jawahar Nagar shall remain off while power supply to KP Bagh, Jawahar Nagar areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 20 May, 2025.
Besides, the shutdown of 33KV TRC Rajbagh Line/ KP Bagh Rajbagh Line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Rajbagh shall remain off while power supply to Rajbagh, Kursoo and Gogji Bagh areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 20 May, 2025.
Also, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina Exhibition Line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Court Complex, GIS Batmaloo, Tengpora Station shall remain off while power supply to Court Complex, Batamaloo Adda, Moominabad, NundResh Colony B, Bemina areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 25 May, 2025.
The shutdown of 33KV Bemina- KP Bagh Line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Rakhiarth shall remain off while power supply to Rakhiarth, Hamdania Colony will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 25 May, 2025.
Similarly, the shutdown of 33KV GIS Tengpora Grid Exhibition Tapline Cargo shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Exhibition, Batamaloo shall remain off while power supply to Exhibition Batamaloo Harisingh High Street Baranpather Batamaloo, Danderkha, Magarmal Bagh will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 18 May, 2025.
Further, the shutdown of HMT & Narbal Line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Zainakote, Shalteng, Bakshipora, Narbal and Sanoor shall remain off while power supply to Narbal, Mazhama, Sanoor, Malpora, Kawoosa, Sozeith, Lawaypora, Zainakote, ICCC, Industrial Estate HMT Shalteng, Mujgund, Bakshipora will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 28 April, 2025.
Likewise, the shutdown of 33KV HMT line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Zainakote, Shalteng and Bakshipora shall remain off while power supply to Zainakote, ICCC, Industrial Estate HMT Shalteng, Mujgund, Bakshipora will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 29 May, 2025.
Moreover, the shutdown of 33KV SH Pora and Kawdara line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at SH Pora, MR Gunj, Shreen Bagh, Kawdara and Mughal Masjid shall remain off while power supply to MR gunj, Nawabazar, Mughal Masjid, Zadibal, Sazgaripora, Nowhatta, Jamia Masjid, Rajouri Kadal, Gojwara, Nawa Kadal, Shreen Bagh, Narwara areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 30 April, 2025.
Additionally, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina JVC line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at JVC, PC Depot, SKIMS-JVC and Children Hospital shall remain off while power supply to JVC Hospital, Children Hospital, State Motor Garage, Haj House, Forensic Lab, PC Depot. Qamarwari and Barthana areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 27 April, 2025.
Furthermore, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina-I/ II shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Bemina I, Bemina II shall remain off while power supply to Hamdania Colony, HIG/ MIG Colony, Nundresh Colony, Hamzah Colony, Sir Syed Abad, Qamarwari, Chattabal, SK Colony, Touheedabad, Bemina, Court Complex, PDD Complex, Mandi areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 04 May, 2025.
The shutdown of 33KV Bemina Exhibition line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Moominabad, Court Complex, GIS Batamaloo shall remain off while power supply to 33 KV Bemina Exhibition line is running parallel to Bemina I and II Line will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 04 May, 2025.
Also, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina Karan Nagar line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Karan Nagar and Shalistore shall remain off while power supply to Chattabal, Balgarden, Zaldagar, Police Lines, Civil Secretariat, SMHS, Gole Market, Guroo Bazar, Tankipora, Shaheed Gunj will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 11 May, 2025.
Similarly, the shutdown of 33KV KP Bagh Bemina Barbarshah Line, KP Bemina Kadal Line, KP Bagh Line, Bemina Exhibition Line, Bemina JVC Line and Bemina I & II line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Fateh Kadal, Khayam, Barbarshah, Court Complex, GIS Batamaloo, JVC PC Depot, Children Hospital, JVC Hospital, Bemina-I, Bemina-II shall remain off as all the 33 KV lines are in close proximity to 33 KV Karan Nagar line near G/ Stn Bemina and will remain affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 11 May, 2025.
Further, the shutdown of 33KV Safakadal line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Safakadal and Wanganpora shall remain off while power supply to Safakadal, Wanganpora, Chaidoab, Syed Pora, Noorbagh, Eidgah, Baghwanpora areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 28 May, 2025.
Likewise, the shutdown of 33KV Budgam-Kremshore line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Kremshore, Khan Sahib, Raithan, Brenwar shall remain off while power supply to Barwah, Kremshore, Ichgam, Kanir, Hanjoora, Charangam, Khan Sahib, Brenwar, Raithan and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 26 & 28 April, 2025.
Moreover, the shutdown of 33KV Budgam Ichgam line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Ichgam, Choon, Kanir, Hanjoora shall remain off while power supply to Barwah, Kremshore, Ichgam, Kanir, Hanjoora, Charangam, Khan Sahib, Brenwar, Raithan and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 26 & 28 April, 2025.
Additionally, the shutdown of 33KV Budgam Watrihail line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Watrihail, Waterwani, Charangam shall remain off while power supply to Barwah, Kremshore, Ichgam, Kanir, Hanjoora, Charangam, Khan Sahib, Brenwar, Raithan and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 26 & 28 April, 2025.
Furthermore, the shutdown of 33KV Budgam Budgam line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Budgam SIDCO shall remain off while power supply to Budgam and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 27 April, 2025.
Besides, the shutdown of 33KV Nowbugh Chadoora shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Chadoora Panzan Rangar shall remain off while power supply to Chadoora, Panzan, Rangar, Wathoora, Bugam areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 28 & 30 April, 2025.
Also, the shutdown of 33KV Nowbugh Chararisharief Line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Char 1, Char 2, Nagam, Hafroo shall remain off while power supply to Gudsathoo, Chararisharief, Kakawring, Dudkathoo, Qazipora, Yousmarg and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 28 & 30 April, 2025.
The shutdown of 33KV Pampore BK Pora Line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at BK Pora, Khanda shall remain off while power supply to BK Pora, Aribagh, Dangarpora, Chattergam, Khanda, Wadipora, Gowherpora and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 26 & 28 April, 2025.
Similarly, the shutdown of 33KV Pampore Pahroo shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Pahroo shall remain off while power supply to Pahroo, Gangipora and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 27 April, 2025.
Further, the shutdown of Ahmadpora Beerwah line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Beerwah, Arizal, Khag shall remain off while power supply to Magam, Beerwah, Arizal, Khag, Aripanthan and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 24 & 30 April and 03 May, 2025.
Likewise, the shutdown of 33KV Ahmadpora Magam line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Magam, Mazhama, Aripanthan shall remain off while power supply to Magam, Beerwah, Arizal, Khag, Aripanthan and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 24 & 30 April and 03 May, 2025.
Moreover, the shutdown of 33KV Hafroo Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Hafroo shall remain off while power supply to Hafroo, Brinjan, Lolipora, Gogjipathri and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 29 April, 2025.
Additionally, the shutdown of 33KV Kanir Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Kanir, Hanjoora shall remain off while power supply to Barwah, Kanir, Hanjoora, Wagam, Hushroo, Zoohama and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 03 & 05 May, 2025.
Furthermore, the shutdown of 33KV Charari Sharief Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Char 1, Char 2 shall remain off while power supply to Chararisharief and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 03 May, 2025.
Also, the shutdown of 33KV Shariefabad Narbal line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Narbal, Sanoor shall remain off while power supply to Narbal, Kawoosa, Mazhama and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 26 & 30 April, 2025.
Similarly, the shutdown of 33KV Shariefabad Wadwan line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Wadwan, Soibugh shall remain off while power supply to Wadwan, Soibugh and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 03 & 05 May, 2025.
