Property worth lacs of a militant handler based in Pakistan attached in Handwara: Police

Srinagar : Police in Handwara on Friday after obtaining attachment order passed by Additional Sessions Court Handwara attached property measuring 13 Marlas worth lacs belonging to a militant handler based in Pakistan namely Habibullah Ganie S/o Ab Rehman Ganie R/o Palpora Qaziabad.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the action was taken under sections of 88 CrPc (83 central) and is linked with case FIR No. 73/2011 U/S 2/3 EIMCO Act, 121-A RPC of Police Station Kralgund.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement police said that property was identified belonging to absconders during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police, Stating therein that the operation reaffirms the commitment of Police to combat militancy connected activities.
