Srinagar: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, along with a group of senior party colleagues, visited Hapatnar village in south Kashmir’s Anantnag on Friday to meet the bereaved family of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, a pony ride operator who died along with 25 tourists in the horrific recent attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday. The sole breadwinner of his family, sacrificed his life while trying to disarm a militant during the attack.
Apni Party President led a party leaders’ delegation to the residence of
the bereaved family members and extended their heartfelt condolences to them. Aaddressing the condolence gathering Bukhari paid glowing tribute to martyr Syed Adil Hussain. He said, “We have come here to extend condolences to the parents and other members of the bereaved family of Adil, who sacrificed his life while trying to save the tourists. We are all deeply grieved by this tragedy, and we stand in complete solidarity with every family that lost their loved ones in this gruesome attack.” During the visit, Apni Party leaders met individuals who were the first to engage in rescue efforts following the attack. These bravehearts included Abdul Waheed, Sajjad Ahmed, Rouf Bhat, and Bilal Magray.
