Srinagar : Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC), currently on a study visit to Srinagar, exhorted all Indians on Wednesday to stand united as ‘One people One nation’ against militancy and violence. The Committee paid homage to the innocent tourists who lost their lives in the brutal militant attack at Pahalgam.
The Committee, headed by Congress leader and Member of Parliament K C Venugopal, wished a speedy and complete recovery of those injured in the terrorist attack. In an obituary reference, the panel condemned the militant attack and urged the country to stand united as ‘One people -One nation’ against terrorism and violence. The members and officials present stood in silence for a while, as a mark of respect to the victims, who lost their lives.
