Anantnag: In the wake of the tragic and heinous militant attack in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA)/ Principal District and Sessions Judge, Anantnag, Tahir Khurshid Raina on Wednesday visited Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag to personally assess the medical condition of the civilians injured in the incident.
During his visit, Chairman DLSA interacted with the hospital administration and the injured persons under treatment. He expressed his deep concern over the grievous injuries inflicted on innocent tourists and civilians, and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the victims and their families.
He also directed the Principal, Government Medical College Anantnag to ensure that the best possible medical treatment is provided to all the injured individuals without any delay or shortcoming. He emphasized the need for compassionate and prompt medical attention, particularly in the context of the trauma the victims have endured.
In an effort to provide immediate legal and logistical support, the Chairman also deputed a team of Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) to GMC Anantnag. The deputed PLVs have been tasked with offering ready assistance, coordination and guidance to the victims and their attendants, ensuring that they face no procedural or administrative hurdles during their stay in the hospital.
