Srinagar: Below is the weeklong timeline of the key engagements of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah witnessed this week within and outside Jammu & Kashmir:-
1. LG Sinha Reviews BRTC Parade: LG Manoj Sinha reviewed the Passing Out Parade of the 16th BRTC batch at Manigam Police Training School, Ganderbal. He paid tributes to J&K Police’s valour and urged recruits to uphold professionalism and serve the nation with dedication.
2. CM Omar Meets Rizvi Duo: CM Omar Abdullah met Syed Abbas Rizvi (JKNC VP) and Syed Mohammad Rizvi (Anjuman-e-Zaman Patron) to discuss regional concerns and Kargil’s development. Later, he attended the Nimaz-e-Janazah of Shia scholar Marhoom Allama Aga Syed Mohammad Baqir Al-Moosavi Al-Najfi at Budgam.
3. LG Inaugurates Mega Surgical Camp: LG Sinha inaugurated a week-long mega surgical camp in Doda and Kishtwar, organized by Rotary International in collaboration with the district administrations and Health Department.

7. Boost to Industry In Kathua: LG Sinha inaugurated Superior Polymers India Pvt Ltd’s unit in Kathua, highlighting J&K’s strengthening manufacturing ecosystem and commitment to Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
8. Spiritual Spectacle On Baisakhi: Marking Baisakhi, LG Sinha attended the ceremonial ‘Tawi Aarti’ in Jammu, calling it a divine tradition that reflects the spiritual richness of the city of temples.
9. CM Omar Reviews HADP Progress: CM Omar chaired a review of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme, launching AI tools, DPR Generator & ₹1,000 Cr investment progress—aimed at building a ₹1L Cr agri-economy by 2030.
10. LG’s Tributes To Rajouri Brave Hearts: LG Sinha paid homage to Indian Army and civilian martyrs of the 1948 Rajouri liberation. He hailed their bravery and eternal legacy in defending the motherland.
11. New Bridge In Pulwama: CM Omar inaugurated a double-lane trussed girder bridge at Rohmoo, Pulwama, reaffirming infrastructure development as key to regional growth and public welfare.
