SSP Awantipora chairs crime review meeting at DPO Awantipora

Srinagar: SSP Awantipora chaired a crime review meeting at District Police Office Awantipora. The meeting was attended by SDPO Awantipora, SDPO Tral, SDPO Pampore, Sr. Prosecuting Officer PD Awantipora, SHO Police Station Tral, SHO Police Station Awantipora, SHO Police Station Pampore, SHO Police Station Khrew and Incharge Crime Section DPO Awantipora.
During the meeting, follow up of previous meetings and various security measures were discussed for ensuring peace and stability in the Police District. Various aspects of policing including verifications, inquest proceedings investigation of cases including NDPS & UAPA Cases besides other issues related to accountable policing were also discussed.
The SSP Awantipora emphasized upon the participating officers to ensure quantitative and qualitative disposal of under investigation criminal cases. All the participating officers were instructed to adopt a public-centric approach and to ensure redressal of their grievances.
