Kulgam: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Thursday distributed free hearing aids among 36 identified specially-abled beneficiaries below 18 years age under National Health Mission at a function organized here.
The event was organised under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) at District Hospital Kulgam through the Department of District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) at District Hospital Kulgam.
Speaking on the occasion, DC congratulated the RBSK teams for screening children. He further asked health, education, social welfare and ICDS departments to ensure the screening is continuously and regularly done and make sure that no such child who requires medical treatment or prosthetic help remains unidentified.
Among others, the programme was attended by MS D.H Kulgam, DEIC team, RBSK team and administrative staff of DH Kulgam.
