Ganderbal: ‘Nasha Mukt J&K’ campaign continues to gather pace in district Ganderbal, with a special focus on Wednesday laid on educational institutions.
In a determined effort to curb substance abuse and raise awareness among the youth, several educational institutions were actively engaged Wednesday, under the campaign’s banner, aiming to maximize outreach to the most vulnerable age group to create a drug-free district by fostering awareness, community participation, and support for rehabilitation.
From interactive awareness sessions to student-led rallies, the day was marked with a variety of impactful activities designed to educate and empower young minds about the harmful consequences of drug abuse. Teachers, volunteers, and local officials joined hands to ensure that the message of a drug-free society reached every corner of the district.
In these institutions, students enthusiastically participated in debates, poster-making competitions, and awareness talks, voicing their commitment towards building a healthier and drug-free future.
The resource persons from various departments emphasized the importance of the campaign against drug abuse. Parents and guardians were also urged to engage in open conversations with their children about the dangers of substance abuse and to remain vigilant for early warning signs.
