On arrival, DC inspected various stalls installed by different departments including the Agri-allied sector, showcasing progress and achievements of their schemes.
Addressing the block diwas proceedings, Ayushi appealed to the people to come forward to register themselves under various public welfare schemes which will address their different issues. She urged the prominent and senior citizens present there to take lead in availing the Government schemes so that others get encouraged for the same.
Referring to Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna, DC said that the scheme aims to resolve the power woes of the consumers to make them self-reliant and appealed to the people to enroll themselves under the scheme to reap the benefits of free electricity. She said the scheme is heavily subsidized by the Government for the benefit of the consumers which reduces the power bill of the consumer to zero.
