Kupwara : In an unannounced inspection conducted earlier today, Naib Tehsildar Drugmulla visited the ARTO (Assistant Regional Transport Officer) office in Drugmulla, Kupwara. The surprise visit revealed a concerning lapse in staff attendance, with more than 50% of employees found absent from duty even after 11:00 a.m.
Following the inspection, the Naib Tehsildar promptly submitted a detailed report to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara. The report highlights the absence of staff and raises concerns over administrative efficiency at the ARTO office.
Sources indicate that the Deputy Commissioner is likely to take disciplinary action against the erring employees to ensure accountability and improve public service delivery.
