Jammu: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, visited the residence of Leader of opposition and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Sunil Sharma on Monday afternoon.
Reports said that Home Minister visited Sunil Sharma’s residence in Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu today.
Sources said that the duo discussed several issues pertaining to the development and security of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pertinently, Amit Shah arrived in Srinagar this afternoon and met the family of slain Deputy Superintendent of Police Himayun Muzamil, who was one of the four officers killed during an encounter with militants in south Kashmir’s Kokernag area on September 13, 2023
