New Delhi: Rajya Sabha member Ghulam Ali Khatana, while speaking in parliament on Wakf ammendment bill 2025, demanded CBI probe in alleged bunglings in wakf properties.According to news agency, Associated News Bureau, ANB, khatana alleged that some families and parties have looted Wakf.He said that he was member of joint parliamentary committee (JPC), who met and visited most of wakf employees.
He said that despite of generating huge money, employees were with out salaries for months. Even some wakf offices were in rented buildings.The BJP member parliament said that Wakf has become a sick annimal, and there was no accountability and transparency in the system.
He said that because of wrong government of congress party in past. The Muslims were used as their vote bank and they were deliberately kept backward.
