Jammu: The University of Jammu today released Volume XX, No. 2 (2024) of Researcher: A Multidisciplinary Journal, a bi-annual, double-blind peer-reviewed publication that promotes academic excellence across various disciplines. The journal was formally released by Prof Umesh Rai, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Umesh Rai emphasized the significance of multidisciplinary research in addressing contemporary challenges and highlighted the university’s commitment to developing a robust academic ecosystem.
Published through the University’s Publication Cell, Researcher provides a dedicated platform for scholarly contributions in Science & Technology, Social Sciences, Business Studies, and Humanities. The current edition includes twelve research papers- four under Science & Technology, four under Social Sciences, one under Business Studies, and three under Arts & Humanities. The publication process was overseen by Dr. Shashi Prabha, Convener, Publication Cell.
Researcher continues to serve as a vital reference for scholars, encouraging high-quality research and advancing knowledge across diverse fields.
The release event was attended by Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Registrar, JU, Prof. Namrata Sharma. Prof. Komal Nagar, Dr. Shashi Prabha, Dr. Raj Sandhu, Dr. Harleen Kour and Dr. Jasleen Kour.
