Srinagar: President Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President J&K Apni Party, President J&K Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF) and Wakf Board Chairperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi have in their separate greeting messages extended greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr.
In a statement issued here on Sunday the National Conference President Dr. Farooq, in his Eid greetings said, “I extend my heartfelt wishes to the people on this auspicious occasion, praying that the Almighty accepts our month-long fasting, repentance, prayers, and rectitude. May the Almighty promote unity among people and further the cause of harmony and brotherhood in J&K and around the world.”
In his greeting message on the occasion of Eid Ul Fir President Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “I extend my greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Besides festivity and joyful celebrations, this auspicious occasion symbolizes our gratitude to the Almighty for His gift of Ramadan, which has given us an opportunity for repentance, self-purification, and the pursuit of piety. May this auspicious day and its celebrations bring peace, harmony, communal brotherhood, and prosperity to our region and its people.” He urged the people to pray for the well-being of Jammu and Kashmir and its people. He said, “I request everyone to pray for peace, harmony, and prosperity in our region on this auspicious occasion. I also humbly urge everyone to share their happiness with the poor and needy and extend support to the underprivileged members of our society as we celebrate this joyous occasion.”
The President Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF) Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen in his greeting message conveyed wishes for peace, prosperity, and happiness to the people of the region. He emphasized that Eid-ul-Fitr is not only a festival of joy and gratitude but also an occasion that strengthens the bonds of brotherhood, compassion, and unity. Hakeem urged everyone to celebrate this holy festival in the spirit of harmony and goodwill, ensuring that its essence of love and kindness reaches every corner of society. He highlighted the importance of remembering the less fortunate during this sacred time and encouraged people to engage in acts of charity and generosity. The senior leader PDF leader said that true happiness is found in sharing, and the teachings of Eid-ul-Fitr inspire individuals to care for those in needs. He called upon affluent sections of society to extend support to the underprivileged, enabling them to partake in the celebrations with dignity and happiness.
In her greeting message on the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr J&K Waqf Board Chairperson said “It is the occasion to thank God for the strength given to us by Him to have successfully completed the month long fasting with full surrender to Him. It is the occasion to resolve to serve mankind with more zeal and dedication.” She said that adequate preparations for the Eid prayers have been done by the Board at all places of Worship. She appealed to all to celebrate Eid while extending the helping hand to the people in need around us.
