Srinagar: The grand finale of the Girls Volleyball Tournament, organized by District Police Anantnag under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2024-25, was held at Ravi Jee Higher secondary school, Khanabal. The tournament, aimed at promoting sportsmanship and youth engagement, witnessed the participation of eight teams from across the district.
In a thrilling final match, Blue Club Girls Anantnag emerged victorious, while Skyline Girls Volleyball Club secured the runner-up position. The competition showcased exceptional talent, determination, and team spirit among the young athletes. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by SP Headquarters Anantnag, Sajad Ahmad, who presented trophies and mementos to the winners and runners-up. He commended the efforts of all participants and emphasized the importance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among youth.
