Transport Commissioner reviews online services delivery at ARTO Office Doda

Doda: Transport Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan, on Wednesday visited the ARTO office in Doda, where he interacted with Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) officials and took stock of the online services.
Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Sheetal Sharma briefed the Commissioner on the current status of services and initiatives undertaken for public convenience.
The Commissioner emphasized the need to streamline digital platforms to ensure efficient and transparent services delivery. He appreciated the department for efficiently running the online services and asked for further improvements to enhance user experience.
The ARTO was directed to identify suitable land for the construction of a dedicated office building adding that a permanent office would facilitate availability of better infrastructure and smoother operations, ultimately benefiting the public. He stressed the importance of accountability and maintaining integrity in public services.
The visit concluded with the Commissioner reaffirming the government’s commitment to strengthen the transport sector in the region. Regular monitoring and necessary support will be ensured to enhance the overall efficiency and transparency of the ARTO office in Doda.
